Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Is this a good sign?

I see that posts here have slowed down - should I take that as a good sign that layoffs are over for now? Or is this simply calm before the storm and we are about to be hit with another round or three?

What can I say, the last month at SAP has made me paranoid...

As @YiCoaGh-ics stated if Q1 financials are bad there may be another round, and even if the financials are good, it depends on how many people find new jobs internally and how successful voluntary separation offers are in Germany (since the work council prohibited involuntary layoffs) - if so, the layoffs they expected in Germany will have to be redistributed to other regions.

I fully expect another round in the US, but not until May or June.

No. There are upcoming layoffs planned in April for some of the European countries. This is happening as the approval from EU was taking time. This time the hit is across lot of locations especially France and Germany.

Wait for Q1 financials to see if there was a sales cycle impact. If so, all bets are off on round 2. Otherwise your safe.
