Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

This week's layoffs

Business Offices got hit today. Heard more to come. Lots of work going offshore and they are on the fast track to automation with the rest of it. Heard Qwest side has already been hit with automation and now they are moving on to legacy CTL side. Looks like not long until we all get our walking papers. They received packages but were given no notice. Today was their last day.

Bumped from @YciA3RZ-5qwj for info.

South Florida CTL lost over 25 technicians in Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Naples. Their last day was 3/15.

Haven’t heard anything from North Florida or Central Florida.
