Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

How far are we from liquidation?

It seems nobody is mentioning the possibility of the worst outcome. Are people just scared to even mention it or are we really far from that scenario that nobody thinks it’s even worth debating. On the other hand, being in Ch11 is proof that the company is in trouble. Seriously, how far are we from the company being liquidated?

"There is a real possibility that asset are spun off for cash."

After Nortel filed Chapter 11, they eventually sold off their different assets for cash. Doubt that will happen with WIN anytime soon since the BOD has so much 'confidence' in TT.

Lots of other posts related to this. There is the WE(enterprise), Fixed wireless , Allworx, CLEC, ILEC, and other stuff to spin off. There is a real possibility that asset are spun off for cash. If the court determines that they are not in the best business interest they will also go away. If people are "let go" that will all be part of the process. If you are on a team that is spun off changes are the new company only wants 50% of you.
