So is dsd or claims next?
Which associates will be lay off in October 2019?
Any new info?
Search "more to the floor" on the wire. It lays it all out for the job duties between claims and GM dept mgrs.
I was told by my SM that it is part of a test model , but why can anyone see it, and the dates are the and of March beginning of Apr.
CAP1 at my store has MORE than what they can get done in 8 hours as it is now! I'm a CSM but have worked all shifts and see what every team goes through. And we just keep putting up with it!
So I just heard that they are running test stores in Florida. They have eliminated claims in those stores. Anyone know anything about that?
@Yeewusv-2rhs I know the cash office was a long time ago the .... dot dot dot ... was meant to say and so on and so on and so on ... it will soon be a dim reminder of the days of old actually it already is !
Post ID: @Yeewusv-2mgi : "Hmm.. then the cash office.." You are out of touch. CO has been gone. CSM's duties include Hal now.
Man that means I gotta put up with this BS for another year! Ba Humbug!! Just give me my severance so I can get the Hell out!!
Office Positions or what is codudered office at Walmart will be gone by the end of fiscal year 2020. Most of these positions are held by tenured associates. If you look at how they have rolled out most of the cuts already it’s been pretty precise. Teach and train lower senior double duty. More and more on your plate kind of responsibilities. Everyone signs new job titles and duties. It’s all very dilaberate. Before you know it the the the invoice clerk is gone the claims supervisor and DSD associates have picked up that duty. Hmm.. then the cash office..
I'm seeing more and more people hoping for severance instead of fearing their job is being eliminated. Hmmm kinda says alot!!
I'm with you (Claims supervisor) please give me severance and our dsd is down to 1 also.
Been hearing claims supervisor is being eliminated for years. Wish they would get on that! I'll gladly take a severance and get the hell out!! DSD has been cut from 2 to 1 in my store already and the ASM is saying to be prepared for it to be eliminated and cap 1 will do it. They have already started training the cap 1 team to check in vendors and freight from fed ex and ups.
I was told any office position such as DSD, Claims Supervisor, any office position that is "non selling", meaning not interacting with customers will be eliminated. Trust me management knows, they just cannot tell because the smart people sick of Walmart's c-ap would bail.
Idk wish I had a heads up on it
