Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

More layoffs coming to CenturyLink

Going to reassure you another RIF is coming. They want 20% Contractors and 80% in house. Mark my words it’s coming.

Is this just a guess or has there been some official word confirming this? Not that I don't believe more layoffs are coming, I just want to know how worried I should be right now...

MAX does not work. Hundreds or thousands of jobs in MAX but it doesn't assign them. Techs get no jobs, two jobs or more. Customers wait weeks and weeks.

Then they get p-ss-d and leave. Drives customers to competition and the ones that stay are all p-ss-d. So every customer you see has waited weeks and is p-ss-d.

Then, we get put on a performance plan cause we aren't doing five jobs a day.

Have fun going to lunch or even being seen in public once you go to MAX. They are all over you wanting to know when they are getting service.

Why does switching to Max have anything to do with it?

Shouldn't there be more contractors than employees? Thought that was the new trend.

Gee i don't know. If you are in one of the workgroups thats sits and looks at each other all day every day cause there is no work and hasn't been for years, you should probably be worried.

If your workgroup is all out of work by noon, you should probably be worried.

If you have to ride two to a truck to try to look busy when your not, you should probably be worried.

If your area went to MAX, you should DEFINATELY be worried.

Get the picture?

If this is just an opinion keep it to yourself. All u do is bring worry and fear to all that have to work here everyday. We have enough to worry about. State facts. Not rumors.

You could be right, but unless you’ve got some real sustenance to your claim then you need to STFU you only try and instill fear in what ultimately uncontrollable to the employees.
