What happened to Sears Routing/Dispatch?

no solid source here but my tech manager seems to think routers will probably be cut entirely. routers are little more than minimum wage earning button pushers and lever pullers. they can't read maps and they clearly don't care about the impacts of their decisions. they fight with tech managers on common sense route changes just because they can. he said capacity managers will then probably oversee all staffing decisions from hiring to vacation approvals, and tech managers will become routers and have to balance calls all day. pretty much what they should have been do all along instead of fighting with some mo--n in chicago for hours over email to make a single change.
A&E Routing is the same.
ByeRouting. We knew this day was coming, the writing was on the wall. Get out of your comfort zone, and do what you were intended to in the 1st place. A lot of us were stagnant, and didn’t want to do the work to move on, here’s your chance. Go back to school, get a new skill, the State is always hiring, get on the list. Opportunity is waiting for you. Move forward, and move on. Stay Blessed.
The writing was on the wall, even a Blind Man could see it. Routers go on to bigger, and better things.
Layoffs and entire site closures. All.service routing will go through Hoffman.
If you thought service times were bad now, just wait a week....
Continuing to help the company lose $400M a month along with the rest of the company I assume. Go forward!
If your talking about a&e service, than nothing. They may have had a lot leave but are still operating as usual.
