Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

How many people are left in DXC?

Last number I saw was 135,000.

Anyone got an update on that? It was sometime last year so it must be quite a lot less by now.

We're now 2 years into "project DXC" (started April 2017) and I would guess we are heading towards the past stated ideological goal of 100,000 employees.

I actually thought it was a 3 year plan, but it looks like the only thing DXC can over achieve at is WFR.

Why on earth would you do the work of 5 people including overtime and weekends for this company? You’re not getting a raise or bonus and any WFR isn’t even tied to your performance. Plus, continuing to work so many hours justifies DXC to keep firing and not pay to hire competent people since you’re already doing it for free. Stop it now and spend some time with your family!

Mainframer: Do yourself a favour and try to get out before your BP goes 200/90! And it will. You can't continue to do the work of 5 or 6 people. DXC won't give a stuff how much you work and for no increase in pay. Up to you, but you, or family, will suffer over this. It is a no good company to work for. If you can, leave and get a better job where you hopefully will be appreciated. Take care anyway.

Is leaving Dodge City and moving to Tombstone better? The remaining level 8 employees ( in Delivery) are doing all the work , holding the place together. More job cuts will be quite amusimg. I am already doing the work of 5 people and cannot continue to do so. Permanently on after hours support. Project manage and team lead and do basic technical support. Don't have time for change control record ( SNOW is a joke) .Customers as well as DXC have no idea how much work we do. Time for bed before it all begins again. Not to mention the unpaid weekend work

To quote from a Bob Dylan song, "Anyone with any sense had already left town". Glad I made the "leave town" thing. This company is doomed to failure...notice that the share price is going down, ML??
