Thread regarding Refinitiv layoffs

A question for the newest layoffs

We had a 'Townhall' yesterday where they explained their ultimate plan (with not much detail) where our boss said that we may or may not follow some or all of what we listened in on.

My questions, since we are going (or some of us already have gone) cloud based, are the companies closing down more Server based?

Looks like it'll be end of this November or next that they will get rid of the 'supporters' of the current systems for the new ones. This is an observation, not factual.

Now look back on what was said at the Town Hall and where we are today with the LSE, Redundancies starting again, etc.
How many time did we hear "Synergies", "Patient Capital", etc.....

When in doubt, get out. There's plenty of jobs at companies that actually want to build things.
