Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

Not that I want to go out. But I sure don't want to be working for free

That was a joke. Barely any info given and just more waiting to get some packet. It's not clear at all when people will actually be laid off. It sounds like some areas could be earlier than others, especially where distribution centers are being closed down. My boss is saying we should go out and service the stores today or we'll be way behind for the rest of the week. If I go out, am I even getting paid, or just my personal rate for the day? Not that I want to go out. But I sure as hell don't want to be working for free.
