Guy was telling me the company that bought them has ties to Samsung and some heavy pockets. They wanna grow their business 5X by 2025. Who knows maybe they buy some of the pizza brands still!

They keep saying it's personal rate, but I never get personal rate on my paycheck and have no idea how much that is. Cause holiday pay is c-ap and I won't work if it's just that.

That was a joke. Barely any info given and just more waiting to get some packet. It's not clear at all when people will actually be laid off. It sounds like some areas could be earlier than others, especially where distribution centers are being closed down. My boss is saying we should go out and service the stores today or we'll be way behind for the rest of the week. If I go out, am I even getting paid, or just my personal rate for the day? Not that I want to go out. But I sure as hell don't want to be working for free.
1) Termination at a later date, they hope to transition by Q3 2019
2) Supposed to let your boss know you got the news, package to be sent in mail with severance details if any.

I’m sure nestle will expect us to push new item in store and to work our a-- off for the next few month or year. Good luck with trying to get us to push anymore nestle items. I Will stay long enough to find a new job then I will be gone.

Kinda confused all I got from call DSD is going warehouse but not too sure if everyone is losing jobs or what
Going warehouse means DSD "Direct Store Delivery" is over. No more Nestle sales reps, merchandisers and drivers. The product will be delivered by another company, likely stores will stock product.
Just got work. Our fears have been confirmed as i had mentioned 2 days ago. Ice cream and pizza going warehouse. Jobs gone by end of this year for big accounts (Walmart, Kroger, etc). Good luck in the future all.
