RIFs are happening every month. Seems like they are making room for hiring Legato “associates” in India.
I am so glad I did not consider moving to Atlanta. I know of people who did and who since got RIF’ed and/or are worries about being next. No one in this company is exempt from the layoffs.
This company used to be a very nice place to work. Not anymore. The changes are likely related to the political environment and the push for single payer system.

Anyone and everyone should expect to get the call that you are RIF’ed. Not sure what’s going on at Anthem, but whatever it is is not good.
Unless your single just flat out refuse relocation since Anthem will never guarantee your job even if you opted to move to one of the IT core locations. Can you just imagine the nightmare of relocating your whole family to another state just to be RIFed within a year or so. Legato is taking over and worst part is we have to train them to take over our jobs !!!
