With everything going on in this company, executive incentives up to 20 million, our local culture crew can’t even follow through and commit to a lunch they planned to host. The “culture crew” cancels the lunch due to participation however why are employees expected to bring in the food to support the lunch? The crew has a budget for building events to increase mural though they opt to give away google homes, TVs, fire sticks to 30 people for an outside community event. It’s disappointing as the crew is to be engaged with the employees and buildings events. Being a bottom feeder I hope others can relate.

Is the crew canceling if participation is low?
Hi y'all 👋
diagusting f2cks.
Rochester Depression Crew has posted a company picnic flyer. They don't cover anything and you pay $30 a person, what a great time it is to be an employee at WINMQ.
The Hudson NOC would get pizza or breakfast for the different groups every few weeks because the local NOC management in that building knew (most of the time) how much effort was put into keeping the network running, though that didn't help as Little Rock eventually outsourced most of those jobs anyways....
Many years ago they would have a 'jeans day' setup - about 10 years ago the dress code was still business casual, and no jeans - but if we wanted to wear jeans that day or for the whole week, we paid a small fee, and that fee would go into a jar that would be used for NOC cookouts, or other NOC holiday events - corporate never really did anything to help out that building after it became Tony Thomas Telecom, so we would take care of ourselves and morale for those were great. But of course the stock price was in the $50+ range, so it was basically "the good 'ole days" there.
Most well-run, smaller companies have employee events quite a bit these days, it is a reversal at WINMQ how outside of the executive moneybags there wasn't a lot of 'thank you for a job well done' from upper management teams. When the company was first formed, they gave out a lot of trinkets, along with free shirts for all the employees. Now good luck if your bathrooms are cleaned as they probably cut the cleaning company and told management to clean it themselves.
Depression Crew .... ROFL

-
Friday is the fake an illness to not have to go into this hell hole. A poorly xeroxed Microsoft word clipart certificate of achievement will be awarded for top fake illness.
Greenville laid off most of the culture crew and they had already taken their money. Can't even get a taco
Culture crew has been outsourced to 'Depression Crew'. Same people, just facing the realities of a company that doesn't care about their employees.
They had better get more creative with their $10 budget than "Mashed potatoes" or "Nacho's"
It's been one failure after another. No sign of Chase corporate challenge this year, they should try and promote team building and exercise but fail at that too! We have yet to do anything FUN here in Rochester in years. Pick any of the past companies PAETEC or Choice One and Rochester has s---ed bigtime!
Any culture that was still around died when the leadership deliberately ran us into bankruptcy and then decided to hand out millions to the top brass after the fact. I, like the leaders, am only still here to collect what money I can. Other than that I could care less about our culture or values.
the culture at windstream is toxic.
Another fail at windstream
