This company is really the worst in treating their Associates specially the ones who have been loyal to them for so many years. Anthem is discarding Associates and replacing them with cheap labor from Legato based in India. Anthem is now a company lead by greed and no longer care for their associates and customers but is only interested on profits.

For someone who has been with Anthem for 34 years and has given their all and to be just RIF is such a heartless way, this is truly saddening to get it this way.
Thought I might make it to retirement and do as normal people would in the old days. Like have a party with friends to send you off to your Happy Retirement.
But, no such luck ...
The Company Anthem does not care about you anymore.

they will replace you with Legato employees in India at fraction of the cost
if you are 55+ you have a big target on your back
if you are in California you even have a bigger target on you back and front
this will keep happening till all employees are replaced by Anthem Legato employees
keeping quite on RIFs with no emails or anthing that can be sent to News Media
Sneaky meeting invite, with UPDATE or REORG UPDATE and HR comes one with manager to lay you off with RIF
Sad day indeed. What a F--KED up way to shaft your former employees. WHAT KIND OF F--CK-NG has Anthem become?

From a 22 year laid off employee...agree. But it's an Anthem brain drain so good luck to the CEO and her underlings left behind. Why look back. Move on....theres other places to work that are far more competitive in their approach to business and labor.
