Another round of layoffs today. I was laid off too.
For last 3 years, I was working on projects with Deloitte and they will bring in some bs tools that added no business value and billed like $250 an hour for those contractors. We told management and were completely ignored and then outcasted. It was like Anthem management was getting big commissions for allowing such bad practices.
So many good employees are being let go and this is so sad.
Deloitte definitely surprised them; but sadly, executive office has been planning these RIFs since 2016 as early as I can see from documents on sharepoint.

Sorry for you..Yes,the contract with Deloitte happened with a huge commission under the table by then CIO Tom Miller and VP Brian .Biran later on joined Deloitte..NOw deloitte stole all the money and did nothing, anthem trying to setup Legato as replacing vendor till 2021 go against contract with Deloitte.So more RIF to come.
