People have been mentioning May as the month when we can expect more layoffs at COP. Has that been confirmed or debunked? Haven't heard much one way or another.

If you’re not supported by a manager that’s a friend of the ELT, you are in danger. Alternatively, if you’re disliked by a “hi-pot”, your days are numbered.
It’s who you know, who you impress, who you successfully brown-nose, rather than creating/adding value.
Layoffs have never stopped. They have been happening quietly to avoid upsetting the troops.
Long term ave seems to be every 3 years
