I’m hearing about a lay-off at under performing plants. Hopefully it’s just b.s. Anyone else know anything?

The greengate chemineer machinists are ok
It’s the clown like planners and managers that are to blame
Gateshead unskilled and unqualified cowboys.
Let's be honest the Greengate machinists on chemineer are pretty clueless
Is Shelton still in charge of Gateshead, he bought it as a great profit making company but what has he done with it ?
Sounds like it Must be a bed of roses for the Gateshead sales guys.
I don’t know but who is your gm and vp
There’s always an excuse why Gateshead are late. But never every there fault. New GM no improvement on delivery. Ami fik
You guys have to be lying everything is done according to API standards only!!!!! Just kidding, fill out the paperwork & send it down the road!
I keep asking what division Gateshead is part of ? What do they make ? Is is Rig, downhole or CAPS ?
The comment about Gateshead specifications is true dodgy heattreatment graphs dodgy pressure test graphs unskilled men assembling valves
Same at Gateshead.
Nepotism and total cronyism is what passes for a management selection process in Houston, we have had a new president in place for just over a year and all he does is put a-- lickers or people from RIG in big jobs they can’t do. Nothing good has happened in the last 12 months.
That’s exactly the same at at Greengate, Manchester, sgt Bilko and his family and friends have taken over, it’s down hill now... trying push chemineer stuff with ancient machines WHAT A JOKE
Almost time to attend another day in the Breen swamp, if anyone wants to see an example of how not to run production then visit this facility, they keep saying things are getting better but all we see is different managers, VPs and presidents and only the worthless ones stay more than a year. Nepotism is prolific
I work in the states, & if I told what goes on here you wouldn’t believe it. Our plant has a swamp that needs drained, they change the head guy & the worthless ones remain.
What is made in Gateshead and Greengate, what segment or division are they in and who is their VPs
Yeah it’s the same at Gateshead.
Greengate is full of incompetent managers too many highly paid clueless managers can’t believe the thick yanks haven’t realised that yet. Sgt BILKO OUT .
I guess the way to get to the top is the same no matter where you work at NOV, don’t work hard just s--- a-- or what ever else needs to be s---ed & your home free!!!!
Cmon lads NOV deliver promises very well so lets not all be doom and gloom, at least be under no illusion that we are all worth less than the fungus under Larry's big toe nail, i'm sure the bum crack licking vermin he surrounds himself with would agree with this sentiment, ah well guess they will be setting up another NOV witch hunt to find who would say such a terrible thing about our glorious leader and his spineless followers.
I know that during a meeting with businessmen from outside NOV mid April one of the Presidents said : time to bring in someone from outside to implement these changes in June/July. We know the loose lipped presidents name, we know all those who heard him say it as some of them were suppliers and at least two of those have corroborated the story. There is definitely a restructure afoot and it involves several product lines
Are you seeing a fortune teller?
Why do you figure the end of this week
The end of this week will tell the tale of what is going to happen!!! What ever it is!
Because Greengate has more non productive staff than anywhere else and more whiteboards per square metre than anybody else in the world....
The only thing that delivers on time at Gateshead is the vending machines. And even then it’s a lottery at best
I beg to differ, I’ve been working in manufacturing in oil and gas for 35 years, Gateshead is the worst ever.
Nothing is worse than Greengate nothing
Gateshead produces garbage, staff are garbage and management are garbage ++++ that includes the big bosses in Houston
Why did the good skilled labor leave, who is management ?
Pretty much all that is left here at Gateshead is all the dead wood, all the skilled qualified good workers have left, such a shame as I can’t see it lasting much longer.
Surely the management want to only deliver quality equipment ? Or is it all about revenue and their boneses
Standards don’t apply, just slap it together & sell it!!
A sub standard inferior product ? Please justify, I thought it was just we couldn’t supply in time ?
Gateshead produces a substandard inferior product and specifications aren’t abided by throughout.
Gateshead .. same story different year, the yanks have tried to close it down once already but now it reports to Aberdeen the Jocks will probably sacrifice it to save themselves ? They are probably already trying to figure out how to make test trees in Houston. What was the name of that squeak from Houston in charge of operations, little guy but big nose ? He liked Us I think
Yeah, I’ve heard Gateshead facility is doomed as a lot of re work.
Have heard the same about 2 plants in UK, brexit doesn’t help neither does the share price being in the sh--ter or Clays comments about cost saving implementations in his Q1 earning excuse ......
Dayton outsourcing a lot of work why ? And why to Greengate
