As of yesterday, layoffs occurred in the elite sales area. Why would you lay off sales people with proven track records? But that’s none of our business.

Windstream is outsourcing every position possible. They will rely on channel partners for sales. So, one can be a WIN customer and never actually speak to ANY actual Windstream employees. Its just a shell company.
Outsourcing all of sales and sales management. Account huggers are in trouble.
Cheapest cost of sale is coming.
I want to be one of those consultants

There is a whole group of extremely high paid sales people who are "Elite" - the "Elite" designation is based on the size accounts they manage and pursue, not their sales records.
"Elite" sales reps who haven't sold anything (those with tenure 18 months or less with no new logos) very likely are the first targets...they have huge salaries, so if they aren't bringing in more revenue then they are effectively account managers whose work could be replaced with 1/3 of the salary.
They will continue
Doesn’t Elite refer to the customer group, not the sales people in that group. I doubt top producing,or elite, sales people are being laid off.
It's absolutely happened. Keep your head in the sand at your own people. Brown-nosing shills have gotten the pink slip too.
Calling BullSh@t on this. No names, no locations no truth.
