We SIGNIFICANTLY exceeded the EPS and revenue goals set for 2018 and should have had VCP funding over 100%. However in the end of the year, Q3, they "adjusted" the guidance, then used that as the baseline for VCP. So it was only funded at 100% even though according to the VCP documentation it should have been maybe 120%. They say "it was distributed based on merit" but the fact of the matter is that the overall pool was not funded as committed.

So it is always a slap in the face to see money get thrown around like this. But at the same time, CEOs are not cheap. Sean gets other offers; other companies want to poach people where they can. Sabre has to pay him well to keep him. He has his shortcomings but so does every leader we can afford.

Sabre doesn't value it's employees in the same way because 95% of us can be replaced without consequence to the organization. Just how it is.

I feel bad for our customers who are really getting the short end of this. At least we can leave when we want; they are stuck with Sabre and would have hard costs to change.

Was there a direction? Perhaps I have a short memory perhaps you do. All I remember is wasting funds on AS and paying back tpg debt. Ah yes bs about bright future.

I'm so relived to read your post. I'm sure that blaming others for the direction of Sabre TODAY works great in your mind.

We have a long history of neglecting and it started long before SM and DS. I doubt you can make a direct connection to both of them. In contrary it seems like on the top came to the logical and long overdue conclusion and realized it time for a change. Hopefully it is not too late.

That was a strange comment.

Yes DFW are tired of the BS.

We are tired of new people who don't understand our existing products who come in and try to replace the products with some half thought out barely proof of concept bleeding edge junk that doesn't do the same as the original.

We are tired of every group of new people using different tools and methodologies that are mutually incompatible and also incompatible with the original.

We are tired of going from a rock solid platform built from one technology to a unstable house of cards built from dozens of technologies.

Change is good. But not just change for change's sake. It must be change that is managed, considered, designed, planned, consistent, synergistic, standardized. Not just change to a free for all chaos.

Simple fact.

DFW people are tried of the BS.

I anticipate you’ll see more regrettable voluntary turnover this year than Sabre has had in the last 5 years.

  • theres a lot to the “why” but the main reason is obviously a very disconnected, lazy SM who doesn’t know how to run a tech company.

— someday the board will get their head out of their a** and reimplement change.

Sales and innovation are the only things that will save this company. Unfortunately we have very little of each. For every year we neglect to produce new products and services you’ll continue to see our clients dwindle away until its too late to save. Then they will sell it off.

We are like the “Covered Wagon” company that neglected to see the evolution of trains and boats.

I am doing the jobs of 3 people and not even making the right salary for my position and experience! And the job only gets more difficult and more stressful EVERY day! I'd like some of those millions, but I'll probably get laid off instead!

Stock value shows that investors also don't like it. So now it is probably less than 10M...

10 million for SM? 5.2 million for DS? The looting of Sabre continues. Of course, that doesn't make us unique. Lots of US companies in the same boat.

But it's "year of the people" more like year of the priveleged few.

This guy makes way to much and his jerky minion Shirk too. Look at that stock performance! Think airlines give a damn about the tech you're using to develop systems? Nope they want quality first and stability to run their business, not the latest the R&D Boston moneyhole can produce based on some buzzworthy "automation" and "ML" talk. Don't even get me going on the "Culture Club" PR nonsense. Employees want stability, security, compensation and recognition then we will talk about your fluffy "decision making" and "OKR" b---s---.

News flash we will all be offshored to BLR because the only way to give the stock a brief $1 jump is to cost cut. That is not performing or innovating. Board, get a clue and oust Meankie already.
