Bought a new car yesterday. Used of course. Never buy or rent a new car is my philosophy. Loaded Equinox for 17K with 16,000 miles. Solid deal. Lots of options. Never in my mind would I pay anything over 20K for a vehicle. They depreciate the minute you drive them off a lot. Good luck all dealerships in trying to s---er the regular consumer into buying an overpriced vehicle. Go to an auction and get the deal you need to get. Most car companies inventories are bloated with cars. Thank you GM Employees for all the hard work you do in getting a car to market. Brace yourself for the oncoming slaughter and economic downturn. This one will be ugly.

Buy a used Batesville coffin while you are at it. That can be $24000.00 you can say you took with you. I agree with saving and investing, not being c-sino jackasses, but sometimes you have to splurge. Your kids, wife, or grand children will.
Better yet, don't buy those rebadged Saturns and Pontiacs!
One thing I learned while at GM was they the corporation did not stand behind its own product (Ford was even worse!).
Forget about being an employee of a big corporation, when it comes to buying a car for myself, I'm a consumer and I only buy what has the best value to me and who stands behind their product responsibly.
Lots of GM employee's view this board and know that auto jobs are in decline and on the verge of collapse. Use Cars will never exceed new Cars. Fact is excess costs to produce a vehicle are baked in a new vehicle always. Used cars are and will always be a better deal. Used cars also have all the quirks worked out of them. GM employees better start worrying. Inventory levels are high.
Once everyone believes that it's a better deal to buy used, the price of used cars inflates and buying new becomes the more advantageous deal. This is known as a free market. Your logic may at times be true, but may not always be true.
Another garbage post by another garbage man....
Good luck with that vehicle! Another garbage GM product.
Awesome deal. I assume you got it through an auction? Is there a site that lists upcoming auctions?
