With incompetent management, outdated (mildly put) technology, and lousy training for new employees, among other things, I keep wondering how U.S. Bank even keeps functioning.
Not to mention that pay here is really low, well under industry standards, which makes this place seem like a revolving door with all the people leaving on their own.
If anybody is considering starting here - don’t! Any place will be better for you.
Agree—add ridiculously high sales goals to the technology ,resource and pay shortfalls.
The technology is beyond pathetic. Had "corporate" come into our branch and was just blown away by how slow the application was running. (Yet they continue to introduce more. Get rid of fusion until it operates like it is supposed to. I dont recall in the "talk to us" your employees begging for something that is so poorly designed and non functioning). There is your disconnect. They hire these young re re's who have no clue. I dread going into this place. Work 6 days a week because you have no staff and computers that dont function. US bank...you will never catch up. This digital nudge does not work with your check cashing customers and the old farts that wont touch it. Good luck. You have made a old school name for yourself where banking goes to die.
I completely agree. It is a soulless place where people get squeezed and pulverized. It is a revolving door. It is a playground for a--hole managers to see how much power they can acquire. And it is a place where politics take over and no matter how skilled you are, you won't get promoted if you are not part of the club. Levang, Terrasi, Bilden, Janke, wlagh. There are several other places like credit unions and wealth management firms where you can build an excellent career. Never go to US Bank.
