Pretty hard to meet every load when routes are on 3 different trucks.

Been a driver for 10 years and I can honestly say this is by far the worst job I have had. Saleman don't meet there loads then cry when there pallet gets barried in the freezer. While I have to wake up at 230 just to get a good start to deliver my 17 stops on tume to please the rsr. And also having to merch dollar generals and not get any commission out of it. All I can say is these lazy b--tards have what they have coming tomorrow.

HR is issuing holiday pay (8 hours) and following the 25/25 miles rule via the almighty Miles app.

If you clock in, you’ll need to send an APE form in

Are we clocking in tomorrow? I wasn’t told anything about being paid holiday pay or anything like that. It is a company meeting, so I should get on the clock.

Why have some districts been told to attend the meeting while other districts have been told to stay home and call the number?

How many meetings are being held tomorrow? I know L.A., Chicago, Cleveland. Where are the other ones at?

This is what I think is going down tomorrow . We are giving all small format accounts to distributors , we will not have any RSR routes anymore. We will just have 2 step PSR routes and delivery drivers with some additional beverage items 2 step as well. We will be adding some additional delivery drivers with class B licenses in straight trucks. Small format routes are not profitable 2 step routes are. Things are not as doomsday as everyone is thinking, yes there will still be job cuts but 70% of us will still have jobs . Everyone stop bashing the company and your co-workers and be thankful you more than likely will have a job after tomorrow. You can respond tomorrow and say I was right .

How pathetic is it that some of you are bickering about who’s at fault, who works hardest, how if it wasn’t for some, others wouldn’t have jobs. It shows where your priorities and concerns are. All I can think about is how this could possibly affect people’s lively hoods. At this point that’s all that matters, no one is perfect. Get over yourselves and think about what is important, we all have issues but they won’t matter if we don’t have jobs

DSD is going bye bye. Going warehouse to big stores and 3rd party to the mom and pop stores.

Pizza will get sold, ice cream will get sold, hot pockets and other frozen foods too. 90 days notice by law on Tuesday. severance pay schedule will be announced, if you don't stay until the end you lose it. Pay increase was a incentive to stay until the end. they need bodies to complete the mess. You learn these things after you've have pulled auto freight for years. I'm been there more than once. Thought food would be different. NOPE!

This is sad reading all the negative comments. I have never had a issue with any of my co workers. Just this one time I caught a driver loading his personal vehicle with product. Don't know why he felt I said something to our dsl because it was brought up at a meeting but I never said anything. I ended up being hated around the depot because he told everyone it was my fault he got in trouble. All I ever do is my job and never have complaints from my accounts. I've been a loyal employee for over 16 years and enjoy the friends helping friends. Well good luck every one

Regardless of the outcome. No company should ever treat their 5000+ employees they way we have been in the dark since Thur afternoon. Good luck to everyone tomorrow morning

One psr starts at 7 am and always finish at 5pm. Same times no matter the season. Then cries for help when he only has 4 pallets to work. Boss always sends the extra merch help his way them wonders why the depot doesn't get along with the favoritism.

I, for one, really like my DA's. I thank my merchandiser every chance I get and get along with my DSL and other PSR's perfectly fine. What will or won't happen tomorrow isn't the cause of any one person or position. This will be a business decision and the fact that so many of you want to throw hate and criticism is not surprising because of the current state of human discourse in the world but still sad nonetheless. Hopefully all of you find something better or stay with something you're happy with, even the ones that complain and point fingers. Everyone deserves to be happy

The brewskis are flowing this afternoon!

This is about not having clear goals. NONE of us knew what our true goals were for 3+ years. There is no sub group of us at fault.

If you have a problem with an individual take it out tomorrow. Just remember they have to pay the bills this month also.

Not every PSR s---s.

Not every RSR s---s

Not every merch s---s

Not every DA s---s

Not every DSL s---s

Obviously some do. I happen to have a great relationship with my DA, Merch, and DSL. People try a lot harder when their work environment isn’t so negative.

Bottom line is this guys this is not how good news is delivered. So it most likely bad news it’s just a matter of how bad and how many people affected. Also must be pretty big or why have the entire company on the call. Everyone not just DSD is on the first 30 minutes after that the DSD gets told how it affects them and what it means for them from a job perspective. I just hope that all those if any that are released are treated well and given a fair separation package.

It’s probably a ploy for us to appreciate our jobs and wake us up from being an account managing job to “were a sales company now job”. I wouldn’t be surprised.oh and don’t forget to wear your safety shoes .......

In the Carolinas here. Had a DG tell me Friday that they will be getting all their frozen product on their own truck starting soon. That we wont be delivering to them anymore. The manager said she found out by accident and asked her area manager for more info but he wouldn't say anything more. Thought it meant we would be delivering pizza and ice cream. And they were just cutting out one vendor. Now it has me reconsidering it.

Had a sign on the back freezer of one of my stores that called it a "business update meeting".

It also said "orders and service schedules in all markets has been adjusted before and after to offset the one day disruption".

This is what I just got from the DSL I can’t believe they even tell you The dress code ..

Team - Tomorrow's Meeting everyone will be paid Holiday pay for the day. You do not need to punch in or out. As for Miles reimbursement, the 25 mike rule will apply. The 1st 25 miles to & from the meeting are not reimbursed. Any thing over that will be but you will need to enter that in teletime. Jeans with no holes are acceptable with a polo shirt. Thanks
