Microsoft hits $1 trillion market cap after earnings beat estimates

Here's the results of an IBM competitor that made better business moves and adjustments in a shorter period of time. Don't you THINK IBM's Board and Executives have been given ample time to turn things around? What will it take to broom these fools to the curb? Unreal.

microsoft as amazon , the great competitors, have a point of force, they are OF one persons in flesh and bone .. the owner of them ( who believes in them ) .. not a CEO or a BOD, which try to mime him

After what IBM did to their workers, the word spread from family to family to neighbors and around the world. Not to be trusted.

I've used Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud and Amazon AWS. IBM Cloud is without doubt the worst of the 3. What really irritated me was you can't even cancel the IBM Cloud account without being passed around 4 different departments, and even then they just put your account on hold. I think its a way for them to say they still have all these users on their Cloud - even though they are not actually using the service.

More smoke and mirrors.

Red Hat at $24 B would be a Hail Mary. Unfortunately Red Hat at $34 B will be a Fail Mary.

Pretty Sad, Should have let Lance Crosby from Softlayer run cloud instead of good old boy Lautenbach, maybe the results will be different. If you think about the billions and billions spent on share buybacks vs taking new investments (like Microsoft), makes you sick.

Ginni is a cost cutter going back to her days running outsourcing, less of a visionary, Watson has gone nowhere. Red Hat at $24 B is a Hail Mary.

IBM likes to waste money on stupid sh!t plain and simple.

Ever wonder why there are several tools trying to do the same thing, yet all s---k at it?

Dump the internal IBM teams already, they are the biggest waste no question.

Ginny and BOD should be embarrassed and stockholders angry. How can MSFT and Amazon grow so fast, and not IBM? Answer: Arrogance and lack of exec leadership. Pathetic business results.

Services (Lab Services) are suffering... but not that there isn’t any work, there is plenty of work but not enough people available to do the work to support customers!! This is because of years of laying off people or pissing people off so they leave. We can’t even hire anyone...

The executive leadership of this company s---s so much!

Great read and so true . IBM was also trying to do what Amazon is doing . Years back we had a team to bring in new business to Service , what a joke . We didn’t have the skills nor management that had a clue . Well , Servives is slowly going belly up with no new hires yet has team leaders and management that still have no clue . End of June and it’s history .
