They won't come right and and say it, but it's obvious this KEIP plan is a way to make up for all their losses on WIN stock. Not very fair to the average worker who is left holding the bag, but that's how it works. Guys at the top eat no matter what. Unfortunately it couldn't happen to more incompetent executive team. They need motivated to stay? Really? More like they know no other company would have them...

They set their bonus formula so it is a sure thing - that's why they have people on staff who do "executive compensation." You can count on them getting the 20 million if it's approved - they already figured out how many cuts to make to get the bonus and put it in the financial plan. Nothing is really ever at risk for them.

I remember LL giving us a speech about how little the top execs make because a large portion of their salary is based on performance metrics that we'll never hit. What a pep talk huh?

The same is true here. They don't get $20 million unless metrics are hit. So remember when doing your job that you are working to earn their bonuses for them and a pink slip for yourself.

The entire situation is @ss backwards. There are lots of other execs that could better guide the company during this time but no one else better qualified to do the day to day work than the current workers who are either leaving, being eliminated or replaced.

New name after they come out of Chapter 11:

GreedStream

Paying customers can now track in real time their money digitally being sent into the bank account of a happy WINMQ 'motivated' executive.

"that its ability to keep them motivated during its bankruptcy could suffer without the incentives"

What about the regular employees who aren't motivated - and on purpose incorrectly complete a customer order because they know the leadership cares about nothing except their own paycheck? A lot of customers are fleeing from this - many have been told by WINMQ employees to go to another carrier with better service.

$20 million dollars could be used for the salaries of the people who haven't had any raises in years.

We need telecom worker co-operatives in America ASAP. No way in hell would a worker co-op vote to give 5 C-suite failures $4 million each while dozens of helpful, hard-working employees get laid off. This same thing happened with Sears and countless other corporate bankruptcies. These people don't have any special insight when it comes to navigating a company through bankruptcy. They're the reason we're in this position to begin with. It's just "screw you, got mine" on a massive scale.

Acording to TT and his messaging drones, the bankruptcy had nothing to do with the operational integrity of the company. It was, in essence, a technicality. So the question is why do they need $20M to stay motivated when supposedly nothing has really changed from the day to day operation of the company?

This is beyond disgusting. How can any employee work for these people knowing where their hearts are. How can an employee have any optimism left thinking they will get it right, meaning the leadership. Just is not right.

Watch the court approve it. How is it legal for executives to take millions in bonuses and corporate incentives while they lay off untold numbers of employees and drove the company they are in charge of into bankruptcy? The lack of legal regulation and oversight is beyond sickening. The executives, BoD, and the judge are all criminals. This is why the middle class is disappearing. Those at the top get millions while the rest of us become 3+% more poor with every passing year.
