I get the expansion of technology and all, and that time will come, but I believe that there is at least a decade before we see any significant influence of technology on the worker headcount. I the meantime, I see this story as just another tool in the leaderships hands to make the workers feel insecure and replicable, and put them in the mode where they are thankful to have a minimum wage job at all.
