Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Do the new Transform employees keep their years of service?

Do the new Transform employees keep their years of service? Accumulated vacation, sick, personal days or is it starting over fresh as a new employee?

If you don't sign on, are you laid off? Or did you technically quit or not accept a job offer?

Is it the same or more pay?

As Jordan Peele would say... "Get Out" of there.... who wants to work for Eddie Lampert any longer?... he's dragged all of Sears & Kmart thru the mud for years.

Didn't you read the document? It's all there in writing. If you don't sign you voluntarily resign and are terminated.

"Pay should substantially stay the same" Don't think for one second they won't screw you over and cut pay after that date on the agreement expires. And you waived all rights to file lawsuit after they cut your pay down too. If you don't agree, just quit. It's his cutthroat way of legally screwing you over and you can't do nothing about this. Call HR and tell them you want it in writing that your pay will never decrease and only change should be increases. You'll be laughed at then laid off within two weeks probably. This company makes an individual want to throw up, take a dump on top of it, pee on that, then vomit again for the thrill of it. #Outfreakingstanding

You're basically being either forced to sign to the "new" company or they'll kick you to the curb. You use your stuff or lose it.

Did you not read the agreement? It literally spells this out.

Yes, keep years of service. Pay is the same. There is a FAQ on the website about benefits.

In California we’re getting paid out for unused vacation/personal/sick days that were earned February-April. In May the clock resets with move to Transformco, so we’ll start with zero hours like a new year.
