Intel moved over 1000 engineering jobs to India and Malaysia in the last year, iCDG and other groups. Started in ~April of 2018 and ended the second round in June 2019. According to the iCDG GM, Cormac, all iCDG labs and development in Oregon were being shut down. India and Malaysia were the recipients of the USA engineering jobs from Oregon and California. Wifi/BT/Wigig/GNSS/LTE no longer USA. Well, Germany got the ax as well.

ICDG will be sold off. The buyer will remove unproductive units and shut them down. Only workers will remain.

90% of ICDG will go. Skeleton crew to "support" existing customers.
