How is every other week truck?

Are you seeing out of stocks?

Seems like a lot of sale outs.

It’s alright. Takes us about 3.5 days to fully put the truck and overstock away. (Only enough hours for 2 people per shift per day). Gives us a little more than a week to catch up on other tasks.

I went from 6 pallets every week to 14 pallets every other week.

From what my DL said, the company wants all low volume stores to eventually be moved to every other week. This way they can save money by not paying the driver's more than they need to. All about cost cutting now. We're spiraling down the toilet.

Is this every other week truck thing supposed to go company-wide? Because my store still gets once a week truck.

It's ok if you can get it done in a reasonable amount of time. If you're in a bare bones minimum store like I am and you're the only person working the truck it's going to take a while. The problem is they think you're finishing the truck in the same amount of time as when you were doing it once a week, which isn't the case. The trucks are double or more in size therefore taking double the time to finish. Corporate doesn't see it this way. They think it'll be done in 24 hours and then you have alllll this extra time to finish other things. It's not working that way, at least not for me.
