I know its quiet, but I also feel as if it's the calm before the storm. Black Knight is known for their layoffs.

So someone in Finance thinks they're pretty special. Get over yourself. You're prime for losing your job just like the rest of us.
What UK departments were hit?
When? Today?
UK got hit hard
Vaild point. We're probably all screwed.
Who makes more than 100k here.
Everyone is suddenly a tough guy when it’s anonymous. I still stand by my original statement of f--- this place
The reality of it is, if you make less than 100k you're probably safe. The company is trying to cut costs. The finance department is important, the workers are overworked and very underpaid so, they probably ARE safe, however weeding out the sloppy ones in every department isn't such a bad idea.
Stop the bickering. In the end, you’ll both get the same CTP package. Half of what it was last week.
Finance doesnt know what it's doing? I wasn't aware that I would find both watercooler talk AND laughs here!
Finance does just fine and runs pretty trim. Sure, there are a few sloppy employees but you get that at every level of every company. If anyone, let it be those that are weeded out.
Feel free to submit any examples you may have of them not knowing what they are doing and suggestions as to how they can improve the process to better help you via the proper channels; rather than making condescending comments anonymously while ALL employees are on edge while trying to navigate the unknown.
Best of luck to you in these uncertain times. See how that looks? Some decency? Don't be a d--k.
The finance department in CV should be eliminated. Half the department barely does the minimum job requirements, another 30% have the collective IQ of a single goldfish. 20% are good, hard working people.
Not in finance and audit in CV. We are safe AF
