Pretty soon people greeters will be doing returns at the door. So they will be doing more than just standing there and doing nothing half the time. In fact in our store sometimes there’s no people greeter at all at either door. You can find it on the Internet under new return policy at Walmart.

Another ignoramus who has no idea what he is talking about.
So I keep seeing post about Leads. I assume this is a new position? Like the ZMS different name. We still have department managers, claims supervisor, CSM's, DSD etc... The only changes I'm aware of is the PC and people greeters elimination to customer host and they are not AP level. Store mgr us told they are a different job code from AP customer host. What stores had already made these changes and what are they since the heads in charge are keeping us in the midwest in the dark.
They have been in our store almost three years now. They are strictly AP, with the exception they scan the item and give them a sticker to identify that the item came through the front doors, not off the counter.
They do not replace the customer service people who processes the transaction as normal.
If you have less hours at your service desk, it's because if customer service scheduling.
