I tried to look at this from all angles an to tell you the truth I don’t see WIN surviving in this shape and form. In the best case scenario they will try to get rid of some parts of the company to try together money to pay for the transformation. Which parts of the company are the prime candidates to be sold off?

If the original first lienbonholdees put up much resistaed I’m sure they would have a legal battle with Uniti. They could take the assets that originally backed the debt and auction them off
Without that happening I can’t see anyone buying our back office, sales and support teams plus customer base.
Blinded by the light.

Well look at the structure of the BU look at the recent pre bankruptcy moves. They are moving everything ILEC to one BU under JS even a good part of wholesale and every thing CLEC under LL. They are getting ready to split apart folks. It's not that hard to see. Now is it to form another company, is it to sale either part, is it to merge a certain segment that leases it's OSP from Uniti for sale / merger with Uniti? That is something we have to wait and see.
Ilec/Smb has assets tied to it. What would you get for buying CLEC?
Resale network, mad customers, and back office teams. They keep saying they want to get away from SMB and move up market, but they’re failing in the enterprise space. It will be interesting to see what other companies would be willing to pay.
"It would be so much easier to just start a new company than having drag the windstream carcass into profit. "
I don't know about the CLEC but it would be hard to start a new ILEC in those service areas.
It would be so much easier to just start a new company than having drag the windstream carcass into profit. Makes no sense other than some people are getting paid a lot. This ain’t about pivoting or resurrecting it’s about 20 or so people continuing to make absurd amounts of money off of other people’s work
as long as TT and his band of thieves is running the show, it would't matter. win is destined to failed.
