Yes, changing from selling cars to not selling cars. Changing from giving you a job to giving you the boot out the door. The fear of admitting the industry and economy as a whole is tanking is palpable.
It's called a Recession, whether your nightly news tells you or not, you're in one. But I know for most people, their truth is dictated to them by the news, so they could've just been laid off, along with thousands of others in their company, but if the news tells them the economy is "Booming!" they will believe the news over what their own two eyes see.
Sad state of affairs...
