Do not under any circumstance go apply to the aetna in woodland hills california location.
I was an account adiministrator there for a lot of years.
It was unbearable but I had to take it for a while until finding something else.
The longer and older employees who had been there a long time are extremely angry and rude.
This of coure effected everyone who had to work around them.
This is fair warning to you all.
Having worked for another large Insurance company, I can tell you by personal experience: Its all about the money. While America used to take care of its employees now its all about corporate greed. If The board doesn't make millions annually they cut staff just before annual meetings. Then they rehire. Its not rocket science, its the way of the corporate world. They just figure that people will find another job. That is how that works. As long as the board of directors are making millions (which I find distasteful as that money actually belongs to the public who put it there) they will continue to still push for production but you will still have a job. They have to compensate people just enough to keep them smiling and dialing. When the going gets rough and profits are DOWN, not gone, they chop jobs. The ultimate goal in this is to get rid of the 25% who are the big spenders in health care. More profits. Why this company made such a deal with Humana in the first place is beyond me. It was a no win situation all the way round. Now doing it with another. It makes me think that these big corporations know something the rest of us don't.
