Business Offices got hit today. Heard more to come. Lots of work going offshore and they are on the fast track to automation with the rest of it. Heard Qwest side has already been hit with automation and now they are moving on to legacy CTL side. Looks like not long until we all get our walking papers. They received packages but were given no notice. Today was their last day.

Going to reassure you another RIF is coming. They want 20% Contractors and 80% in house. Mark my words it’s coming.

Hmmmm. When an MRO from Colorado who they relocated to another area to save him because he is an "old buddy" to Bob Novak and Roger Pierce tells you, just wait, there are layoffs coming to Colorado and other Northwest Prism areas next month, I tend to believe him.

sounds like all the posters have rumors, but no substance. pay attention to the business units that have contracts up for renew to gauge CTL forward labor mindset. in Florida, IBEW 199 North (N. FL) was held in limbo (working on expired contract) for better part of a year. Then Hurricane Michael hits (N. FL, GA, AL). Those dedicated and damaged folks went to work, big physical and financial losses to the network. Whether it's hardship or sympathy CTL signed the 199N contract. Central FL, CWA 3176 contract expired in January 2019, unaware if they had headcount reductions, CWA website says CTL is dragging its feet to the table, but there is a TABLE. IBEW 199 South (the bulk of Florida) just had its membership whacked 20-30% through layoffs, contract expires in June. EO March is the 60 day pre-set for negotiations. ?What if CTL starts a union blowout and tells 199S, we don't need you. If CTL tells you this is the last "seperation offer" believe them. There are 30 and 40 year dinosaurs that have been hiding behind all the youngsters that just got pink slips. Now those dinosaurs are in a panic with MAX/WFM micromanaging their productivity, "oh, I'll take the next package". A$$hole, that ship is gone. buckle up, the ride isn't over. watch the internal job offerings, in union weak MN, WI, they have CTL "temp and seasonal" job openings. when those unions can't supply bodies, CTL will get their contractor headcount they want. No union language of "post-layoff locking out contractor hires" will work. CTL is taking this work around for a legal test drive in WI, MN.

The big fun will happen when the next large windstorm hits Florida, after all the sour treatment, lack of leadership, reductions - who is going to bring your network back online?

Kim, Danny - you should be fired for your lies and mismanagement from IRMA and onward.
