Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

Any chance of a buyout happening?

It’s becoming clear that layoffs are not business as usual and that they aren’t gonna stop. Can the fact that they are trying to get rid of a bigger portion of the workforce make them reach a decision to perform a mass buyout, or at least a buyout for older long-timers? Thoughts???

It is really sad what they have done to the older work force and it really should illicit public awareness. There are laws against discrimination and they clearly have done it in a very sneaky way.

forget dribs and drabs they just prefer to Target the older people and kick them out where they just can't make it to retirement and have no chance of getting hired anywhere else and not even offering to bridge them or asking them for a voluntary package or an enhanced package to ay least get healthcare until Medicare kicks in or at least get them help getting Affordable Health Care or to accept a lower salary somewhere else no options at all it's see ya
