No Salary Hikes :( :(.. Is This True ?

I have joined this complany 1.6 months ago in India. I am hearing that there are no appraisals and hikes this year. when I have asked this to my manager , she just blushed and moved away without any answers.

Mikey receives raises so what are you complaining about? Don't Xpect Compensation employees work to Mikey who scoops up the fruits of your labor and takes benefits of your efforts.

Major U.S.A. defense contractor recently told D-on't X-pect C-ompensation that it should perform a market analysis of I.T. salaries. This happened because the contractor is increasingly concerned and annoyed that knowledgeable DXC (aka, CSC, aka Cheat Staff Corp) people keep leaving the sinking tugboat. DXC (aka CSC, aka Cut Staff Corp, aka Cheat Scam Connive) has a long-established policy of never giving cost of living raises.

Want to work for a company that does not give merit increases ? Didn’t think so .

In 2017 It was made clear that there will be "NO SALARY HIKES" going forward, the max one can expect is the annual bonus of approx 0.25% of your CTC.

Stop being foolish by asking your manager about it, for all she can provide you is a weekend along with her to vent your frustration, dont forget to carry a condom.

For those reading thinking of joining DXC - do not expect any raises. Still want to work there? Ask the maximum salary you can possibly get out of the position you are applying to. That's the only way of giving yourself a 'raise' at DXC. One time only.

Unfortunately, a manager who blushes and moves away without answers is very typical. She is moving away because she realises she's just hired someone who is asking for more money after 6 weeks and knows you will either want to leave or become a permanent thorn in her side.

At a pinch, she could have talked to you to determine what your motivators are and put that type of work your way. But I doubt it. The default motivator in DXC is fear. So you will learn to keep quiet and do as you are told. :-)

There is an appraisal system in DXC; but, it is a manipulated process and should not to be taken as a true reflection of your performance. It tends to be driven by Business Unit Reduction Numbers (BURN) and as there is certainly no reward attached to the process, it is up to you how much effort you put into it.

A raise in any company is usually only offered after completing 12 months of service and dependent on the company meetin its goals for financial, delivery, growth and customer satisfaction. This is irrelevant in DXC as they don't give pay rises. Period. They won't admit that at the interview stage as it is not in their interest to. But if you want a career, as oppose to a summer job, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Even promotion won't give you awards, just more responsibility.

While our position on raises is c-ap, did you really expect one after 1.6 months? What does 1.6 months translate into business days, and FTE hours. If you know both of those values maybe we can get you a raise.

no one is getting raises I figure that now DXC have transitioned a lot of its operations to India it will be less likely for you to get a raise since in case you leave the company they will get a cheaper one than you or no one for that matter.

The CEO doesn't believe is raises, so what ever your making now you will make for life. MKL only believes in raises for himself and the other NEO's and no one else. WE HAVENT had a RASIE in OVER 5 YEARS

The managers in CSC/DXC , India are the main culprits. They will never let you know the truth until your last working hour in DXC.... but you may get hike provided you are a bootlicker.
