The reality is that most of the good talent left some time ago. What you have remaining are either unskilled "managers" or the people who have spent their careers brown-nosing said "managers".
Most the remaining people couldn't get through the interview process elsewhere.
Years ago, you had some of the brightest and best engineers at Qualcomm, but the environment became too toxic.
So much truth in this short post by @XZnHY58-1bia .Wanted to make it more visible by making it a thread.
SM is still there, leading from the sidelines with monotonic pronouncements of dull visions.
I think Qualcomm never had any good engineers, at best just some industry average engineers.
if management doesn't screw up again.

thats what i think too .. key folks are still here but agree, lot of good talent has left. i think the core is still strong but new innovations may slow down
Still lots of key folks are here. Some good quality folks left not only to apple. They are all over apple and start-up. Still we are holding key people here. Don't worry. Qualcomm will be okay.
