Lousy pay, constant threat of being laid off, replacing us with technology, outsourcing, constant shifts and lower management level, I can’t imagine that anyone would want to pursue a career at WM. Slowly but steadily we are becoming a company in which people work until a better option comes along.

@upf Most companies sold out the American worker when NAFTA was ratified in the 90's. (It was actually before that but I digress.) In their strive for greater profits they justified moving everything overseas whether it was Mexico or China. That was pretty much when the worker became a burden to companies and not an asset.
I consider most American jobs as indentured servitude. You get barely enough to live on while the top 2% live in their ivory castles sitting on their golden thrones making all the decisions not comprehending the actions of their decisions. It's only going to get worse when more and more robotics is implemented into the workforce eliminating jobs.
The worst part about this is how we as a nation somehow let a retail company become our #1 private sector employer. Not industry, not agriculture, not technology, not health care----R E T A I L. This road skid disaster has been years in the making, but now we're here.
