Thoughts? The rumor's been around for a while.

Anyone who saw Jp Morgan folks take over Prudential's Sr mgmt positions after Art Ryan joined knows that they bring their own people in as that is all they trust. Look at history. Ironically, they all say how Jpm is better at this or that , but yet, they all are quick to leave for the money play. Expect the Jpm swarm to continue (watch) and start back filling the jobs over there!
Just a bunch of cronies that have no skill
We are hiring JPM people? Most of my department works there now. They are miserable. They are working 11-12 days. Now the rumor is they are moving operations back to Texas.
We seem to be hiring a lot of these jpmorgan guys... who is left over there? Hopefully some of us displaced bnym people can get work there.
you wish. BNYM will never be a JP Morgan company.
I dont know why anyone thinks that these companies would want bny? It's a dinosaur in a business that's no longer profitable. Until it gets automated their making these cuts because they just dont know what else to do to keep the profits up. But they will lose customers in the process. By then Charlie will have made his money and moved on.
Could BNYM be broken up and sold in 2 pieces to make more palatable for regulatory approval?
That’s why they’re getting rid of WFH. They are going to be bought by a bigger company and new owner/ceo doesn’t want to buy a company where 95% of the employees are slacking off at home 50% of the time.
They are putting a fresh coat of paint on, trimming the hedges and cutting the shrubs back to make the place look nice.
After the merger/sale they will eliminate duplicate jobs. No work from home anymore. Work is work and done in the office.
Makes sense about Goldman. Executive team mostly Jewish anyway
Goldman Sachs most likely buyer.
Charlie wants BNYM to be Ike JPM so he is bringing in people with experience from there. Doesn’t mean an acquisition at all. There’s too much at BNYM that JPM would not want and regulators are likely to choke on a deal like that. Just wealth going though. That makes sense.
There are many management types arriving with JPM experience
Very unlikely.
