We have been centralized to XBS. Seems we no longer work for the cores and many things have changed
We now make less than xerox direct technicians and we run more calls
we have lost 401k match % benefits now horrible and the bonus plan is in question
Options for us
Work for independents while the market is hot
Unionize Carl Ichan likes unions
Work less than four to five calls per day and see what happens
We have no voice now and should use this site to determine options

This is a job like any other job, you can quit at any time. No one is forcing you to stay at Xerox or any of the XBS cores. If you like your job stay and help the company do better. If you don't like the constant changing leave, try and find a job with a company that is not changing. I am sure you won't be there long as it will surly go out of business.
All companies must change.
Oh I forgot to mention this is NOT the Xerox of the 80's get OVER IT or get out while you still have a choice.
Stop complaining about things make a change to better yourself! If the change is a new job or a better attitude so be it.
I think we can come to a better understanding of how each group works and move forward.
Direct here. Some days I do 1 call (Colorqubes), some days I do 8. I also RS 40% of my calls which apparently isn't counted anymore . My average is 4 visits with 4h travel. I also have to drive an hour to airport (undocumented) to return 07 and 03 because my parts drop doesn't allow shipments out.
If we work the Saturday after Thanksgiving or New Years we get paid straight time because of the holiday. Guys with green stats in every category may get a 2% raise every other year if they are lucky
I was a Xerox tech for 23 years. Went 7 years without a raise. My last two years they bumped up our calls per day to 8. Required us to be at our first call at 8 and last call at 5 even if the call was 3 hours away. We had no bonus. By the way we tried to unionize once but the IBEW explained that because Xerox uses another union for manufacturing they would not take us.
