This area has so many outages because WIN won't upgrade the equipment, so now they will leave WIN for a better telco. Good job, TT - your outsourcing is saving the company so much money! lol!
"The outage comes two months after the December Windstream outage that impacted services from Carter County's 911 as well as Greenup County.
Greenup County Judge Executive Bobby Carpenter expressed frustration with the phone outage.
"It is an ongoing thing," Carpenter said. "I am requesting a meeting and I want the Boyd County and Carter County judge executives to go with me."
Ashland City Commissioner Matt Perkins also expressed frustration with the recent Windstream events.
"I can tell you this is one of the reasons we are switching carriers," Perkins said. "Our citizens have a tough enough time with our current phone system. They don’t need one more impediment to reach city services."
And WIN wonders why the revenue is decreasing??
