Does any one know the severance package for forced layoffs in the U.S?

Last round of layoff, it was 2 weeks per year of service.

Does anyone know if the voluntary layoffs have already started?

What's the timeline for voluntary and forced layoffs?

Nope...not if it's part of a mass layoff. There are no protections....not even people over 50 in California.

Does anyone know if there are any laws in California that makes it hard to layoff someone who is over 50 years?

Apparently layoffs are done in 3 stages:

a. Early retirement for those 60+

b. Voluntary layoffs

c. Forced layoffs
