Ford is over-hired

Ford is over-hired....period.....especially in the last 5 years....in-terns, coops, H1bs, H4EAD...list goes on and on....so many projects are on hold.....need discipline enforced....

@1iuw your rant is not true... GM did hire more H1Bs but things are not as extreme as you'd want us believe (and GM has a larger IT force too)

GM hired about 800 H1Bs in 6 years. The data is public. See link 1 below.

They have 30K folks working in IT, that's less than 3%. Also, not all H1Bs are in IT, so I'd say they have under 2% of H1Bs in IT.

GM is using consulting companies and hiring a ton of contractors, I'd say 30% of those are H1Bs but they are not on payroll.

We've hired about 400 H1Bs during the same period.

The H1Bs numbers actually aren't so bad at Ford when compared to GM. GM hires a massive amount of H1Bs, some very questionable ones under $75k salary. That's why H1B minimum salary should be raised to $120k. I'm sure there are Americans out there who can fulfill those <$75k jobs. I'm almost certain of it.
