Did you mark your micro-survey all positive just so you wouldn't have to listen and put up with the angst, discomfort, and worry about your boss fretting over the results and trying to find out who posted a negative response?

You're never going to get rid of bias no matter how many hours of classes. I don't think classes are going to permanently overcome human nature and it's instinctive tendency to favor people more closely like yourself. People will forget about a class and go back to doing what they think comes natural as far as decision making. Just look at who your friends are. I bet they all are a lot like you are. 1000's of years of human evolution that favored tribes of similar people uniting together in social groups at the exclusion of different groups is not going to be overcome by a class. That's just my dumb a-- opinion.
Still had to sit through 60 minutes of manager going over the results. Said good participation. Well, we received numerous email reminders to complete it. Making a real rating would result in more unwanted meetings to discuss results. Latest flavor of the year training is already burning many work hours. Unconscious bias training. All the rage for many companies. If it’s on Wikipedia, it’s probably peaked. Did the math on my group. Has to be average $1000 per hour in pay/benefits being burned as we sit in training. Multiply that by the number of training weeks and then the number of other groups being trained. Cheaper to have us watch a video and check a box. Then again, my bias might be showing.

Only management action from the micro survey I've seen is how to get people to answer differently, not how to improve anything to get better scores.
Seems like often times the micro-survey corrective action is to tell your team the negative comments are wrong and from just a small minority of disgruntled people that are to be ignored because they don't get how awesome the management is. So, if you feel this thing is now just feel good propaganda for management, I'd urge you to not ever take the survey again. I won't.

My manager ever told if never put positive feedback, E-D will no choice but has to transferred me to other department :(

I placed all questions in neutral with the comment nothing is being done with this information except presenting it. Which they did.
Seagate has the tendency to work the numbers or polls in such matter it's always possible but when you start talking really with everybody some offices people aren't bothered by anything except the paycheck and a comfortable job where the workload is very low and have a bubble of Managers and Directors.
Time to RIF some of those managers and directors who only have 1 or 2 fte working for them.

the stock market is all short term and we know the stock is manipulated but it is egregious that the execs continue to lie to the staff about what is happening. talk about shameful and toxic - the execs created this culture and they can fix it but continue with lies and deception. What are the 3 BS values they keep talking about and then do something completely diff?

I dont believe for a second that it was anonymous. I told the truth.Hope the truth hurts.Seagate management in Derry had the worst results in the last survey.Im hoping it will be the same this year again.
I answered mine honestly since I would not mind getting a RIF, but yeah they will find out.
Absolutely I liked. They know exactly who is answering the survey. Don't believe for a minute that it is anonymous. It is a scam to figure out who to RIF.
