I knew we were gonna be buried in work after the cuts but I didn’t think that it would come so soon. My team couted 10 and 3 people were let go. Feels like the workload has doubled. Did anybody get the same feeling?

Not yet. But for the first time I’m starting to feel like I don’t have a future here
We had a open req and they still let someone go.. thx for piling on more work! A hols!
All part of the plan. In a few months they’ll open up some refs and bring in a couple G grades at half the pay to replace the I grades that were let go. Nothing to see here.
I think it is safe to assume they got rid of 3 50+ employees and the remaining 7 are mostly (if not all) Millennials.
That would explain why the work doubled.
For the workload to have doubled, the 3 let go would have had to do the same amount as the remaining 7.
Sounds like management got rid of the wrong 3.
