I suspect there will be plenty of chatter tomorrow after he smugly dismisses the questions and concerns of the employees.

I AM BNY MELLON! Giggitty Giggitty
CEO in his town hall was middle of the road. Sounded like any other CEO I've heard before. Change or die message seems pretty straight forward to me. He's not doing anything different than any other CEO would do and say. The fintech with zero legacy systems will eat BNYs uhm I mean the dinosaurs lunch. Few will have to be sacrificed for the benefit of the many. Nothing special here. It's the SOP in the 21st century. There will be more layoffs it's a no brainier. If you don't think that's the case you're naive. If you think you're safe you're naive. Best way to known how safe you are is to ask yourself "would I pay someone as much as I make for the work that I am doing?" If the answer is yes you're safe. If not you're not. It's just that simple. Good luck to everyone but it's really how much you're making relative to what you're doing that matters.
It was lol when GH said with tears in his eyes that he is so proud to be part of this company for 30 years ... And still is LOL
He is so fake !!!!
Not answering the questions everyone is waiting to hear the answers to
No real questions in the Q&A section, just the usual softballs to make them look good.
Listening now. He’s so full of it!
I can't listen to Santomassimo - if I could, I would count how many times he says "sort of", but I just can't listen to him for more than a couple of minutes.
This is his quarterly all employee townhall and registration info was sent out by someone in Marketing. It is scheduled at 9:00 AM NY time.
Townhall? It means lay off is going to start again from tomorrow?
Normally get notifications of these townhalls. Not this time. Interesting
Santomassimo was very nonchalant last week, stating there are no set goals for cuts and it was left to management? It looks there were at least 700 to 2000 cut so far.
I predict that he will make it very clear that he doesn’t care what anyone thinks about anything he’s doing and it’s his way or the highway. There will be no attempt to rally the troops or get employee buy in on his vision for the company (if he even has one beyond cutting costs regardless of impact). Watch his body language and mannerisms. He’d be a terrible poker player.
Didn’t hear about it. Dial in and time?
