People can literally watch layoffs going on continually all around them and still think all is well because the talking head on TV says it is.
If they pi$$ on your head and tell you it's raining would you believe them?

People lose teeth hair and even those around them forever. Layoffs are the same thing to a firm. Cycle of human life and that of a firm. Difference is only through layoffs and hires the firm continues to go on in perpetuity. All is well. We've been biting more than we can chew for decades. Now it's time to reset but sadly no one listens. We've become pavlovian sheep where debt = income --- wrong. All is well.
