Did Lillian Lee say when the sales of these business segments are supposed to be taking place? I'm concerned.

What do you think the chances are that the employee survey is actually going to be anonymous aggregated results and not an easy way to identify bitter people who are the first to be on the chopping block? Are they serious about needing to do surveys to ask how people are feeling? Let's see they stop investing in the business, lay off as many people as they can, and replace everyone with contractors. What do they think people feel?

We’ll know more once we check out the pulse of the org as an employee survey just went out.

All is quiet on all fronts - at least in Tax.

Sales reps are in Orlando this week at the yearly sales conference.

I am convinced, however, that there isn’t a plan to grow the business. All of the restructuring they are doing, in my opinion, is in the name of cost-cutting and preparing the balance sheet to be attractive for a sale to another company.

The language they have used doesn’t reflect growing the business and serving the most important asset: the customers and the trust they have placed in us over the years.

What about the regulatory regulation and complance-compliance tool (RRaC)? Is that being sold off?

Did the global VP of regulation on regulation say anything?

It’s In Texas this year. Actually from what I’ve seen it’s a lot smaller and less exciting then in the past. They used to send most of the company but this year they cut back even further. At one point they surveyed those in attendance about if they felt happy with the direction of the company. 80% said NO!

The sales staff isn’t stupid. They see the writing on the wall too. They know those in charge are trying to reduce headcount in the sales department to try to make it look more profitable in the short term. This year is about trying things out. 2020 will see a huge reduction in sales staff and nobody their likes it at all.

The sales staff is enjoying a ticker-tape fete at the annual sales meeting in Orlando right now, so that's what's going on...
