Or what it has been called since the early 1970's , "Process improvement using computer Systems" Nothing new at all.

@XlIVG7A-2jfy: different tools? DXC is full of them!

Funny how DXC keeps on buying out digital transformation leaders ... it really shows that DXC is a leader of nothing and a clusterfook of all.

Seeing @XlIVG7A-1peq mentioning "New Style of IT, Digital Transformation" reminds me of that BS training known as Spartans which achieved nothing and the certification was and is worth nothing in the IT industry. A total waste of time perpetuated by DXC. Mind you I could book almost unlimited time to the training WBSE code in the name of Spartans with my manager's blessing.

When I started, it was called "data processing". Still the same concept, different tools.

We've had big data, cloud, now Digital Transformation..... all BS to try and sell the same old services from the same badly organised and managed IT providers.

DXC seems to be the current white elephant of third party providers.

New Style of IT, Digital Transformation. Two big thrusts by HPE and DXC over the space of about 8 years. In all that time their revenues were declining and continued to do so. They showed increases in revenues in the 'digital businesses' by reclassifying from the traditional networks / data centre business, but it is just moving from A to B. There is very little real growth in these areas in DXC, although there should be because there is no doubt that companies are spending more to transform to emerging and disruptive technologies. It is one big marketing / sales push by DXC. It is Emperors New Clothes and the market makers are starting to cotton on to it. DXC might get away with it for two more quarters but at some point someone is going to call out that they are not wearing any clothes.
