I need advice. Been here 15+ years. My new dl doesnt have a clue what they are doing. Has no fs knowledge and no idea on realistic time frames of events. Its their way or no way. What do i do?

Prey for Target or Amazon to buy FS soon or look for another job outside retail.
Let it be their way. Let them have it. Start learning to make your own money and stop depending on a check. That’s what i am working on myself. We have to start making our own money. You can only try.

My experience is most DL's even those with fs experience, have NO concept of how long it takes to get things done. My guess is they've been out of the store level for too long, and they forget what it's like.
My DL is also clueless however they don't really ride me. I get away with a lot that I didnt 2 years ago. That said, the work flow feels much heavier this year than ever before and my hours are right where they've always been.

Work yourself to death to meet your DL’s expectations.

Have an unfortunate accident happen to DL and hope replacement is better.

Find another company to work for that is not as lousy as CVS.
