Discussing the Era of 'New Collar' Workers With IBM CEO Ginni Rometty

Wow. . . From 0:44 'til the end of the video at the 1:40 time stamp. Of particular interest though is from ~1:30 - 1:40 --

This idea the people don't need to be left behind, and by the way, age doesn't matter. Our data proves

it. We've re-trained the whole workforce. It is irrespective of age their ability to move forward into these

new areas.

Are you kidding me?! She's actually buying the smoke that she's blowing up her own skirt! How far can one have their own head up their own arse?

IBM does not pay FMV as it is. The new collar hires are paid even less!

Age does not matter when you are on the board of directors where the current average age is 65. Why is it necessary to mislead investors about the fact that the majority of the RA's and forced retirements outside of the directors circle has been older skilled workers that are over 40 years old?

Ginni has re-trained the whole workforce. She taught a happy and dedicated group of people to be miserable. She taught the workforce that they are better off somewhere else. And she teaches everyone that she is completely out of touch.

You forgot to mention the skills we want at 1/2 price and zero benefits.

'retrained' is an interesting way to phrase 'fired and hired the skills we want'.
